What events will take place in 2024?
The 2024 United Pickleball State Championship series will commence in Arizona on February and events will run throughout the year, ending in November at the United Pickleball Championships in Dallas ,TX at the Brookhaven Country Club. Can players from outside of the state that the State Championship is played in , win the Championship?
Yes, any player who competes in the State Championship will be eligible to win and receive discounted registration at the United Pickleball Championships
What ball will be used?

Which divisions will be offered at United Pickleball State Championship events?
Most events will have the following skill divisions: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0. Please check the listing on Pickleball Brackets for the most up to date registration information
Which age groups will be offered at the United Pickleball State Championship events?

What is the Champions Division?
The Champions Division is a division held at the United Pickleball Championship for State Championship Medalists only. Medalists from all 51 State Championship events will be admitted into this division to see who is the best of the best.

How do I register for my States Championship?

Is there a registration fee, and if so, what is it?
Yes. State events registration fees will vary. Check your events listing on Pickleball Brackets for the most up to date registration information.
Can I sign up as an individual player, or do I need to have a partner?

How do I find a partner if I don't have one already?
On Pickleball Brackets, depending on the tournament, you can select “Need a partner” when registering. Or go to the “Looking for a partner section” and select one of the participants who is currently registered without a partner
What equipment do I need to bring for the tournament?
You will need a paddle and shoes! Your tournament operator will provide you with balls to play with
What type of court surface will the tournament be played on?
Almost all of the events will be played on hard court ( concrete ) but check your tournament listing to be certain as this will depend on the venue.
Will there be any practice courts available before the tournament starts?
Yes, depending on the venue , you will be given time to warm-up prior to the match
How many matches can I expect to play in a day?
Matches played will vary depending on the event you compete in
What is the tournament format (e.g., single elimination, round-robin)?

If I am a medalist at a State Championship event, how do I receive my discounted registration at the United Pickleball Championships?
Discounted registration will be automatically applied to your profile on Pickleball Brackets. You will also receive an email with this information.
Am I allowed to play in both the Open and Champions Division?
No. These events will be on the same day and players will not be eligible to compete in both divisions.
